The competition is growing bigger in 15.4 inches laptop as the new 15.4 inches laptops by various brands are making their way into market. Most of the users got to 15.4 inches laptops and they take more the half of the sales percent annually because they are handy as well as they have best screen in size available in laptops, so most the companies try to occupy the annual sales in 15.4 inches laptop market. Keeping this strategy in my mind computer laptop giants Apple, Sony, Dell, Hp, Asus, Toshiba and Acer all there are having peak competition and doing better as well customer getting good benefits and technology as well. After the success of XPS series of laptops from dell has introduced their new Studio series in 15.4 and 17 inches laptops.
Dell Studio 15 has two different models which are standard and special art edition. Dell studio 15 laptops are available in seven deferent colors. There are some different in functions and price too. The basic configuration is the same but we upgrade it as we want. Here are some key features and hardware specifications of the new Dell studio 15 laptop series.
* OS: Dell provides Windows Vista Home premium 32 Bit operating system with service pack
* Processor: Studio 15 has Intel Core2 Duo processor in both of models with 216 GHz clock speed and 667 MHz bus speed which is up gradable. 2.5 GHz would be the best choice for running the laptop smoothly.
* Cache: L2 Cache is 2MB
* Memory: 3GB Dual-channel 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, enough to run high end graphic resolution games and softwares. You have another option to upgrade memory to 4GB.
* Motherboard: Studio 15 contain Intel 965 GM chipset, bit older but good as for windows vista.
* Hard Disk Drive Dell has given 250GB just enough, but there is up-gradation available to 320GB.
* Graphics Card: Graphics card are considered priority in laptops because now a days the time is computer graphics, and games so they need require more graphics memory to run smoothly and easily. Standard model have ‘Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100′. Art model has some improved graphics ’256 MBATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450′ and will be better for games.
* And other feature which are most common like DVD RW, Bluetooth, card reader, speakers etc
* Art Model has finger reader built in it but other one does not contain this.
* Battery: Dell Studio 15 comes with a 56 wHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery which gibes enough battery time but you can upgrade it to 9 cell battery.
Overall this new Dell Studio 15 has been for general use not for intense high graphics use so if you are planning to run some kind of 3D modeling softwares like 3S studio or Auto Cad or high graphic resolution games then you should go for a different laptop as Dell Stusio 15 is not designed to provide high end graphics.
