UPS Cargo plane crashes in Dubai
A Boeing 747-400 cargo plane, owned by American cargo giant UPS courier, crashed inside a military base, on the outskirts of Dubai. The plane caught fire shortly after take-off from the Dubai International Airport. Both of the two crew members on board were found dead in the debris.

A strong earthquake of 7.2 Magnitude shook the south island of New Zealand early in the morning of 3rd September at 4:35 a.m. local time. The epicenter or source of the quake was reported to be four miles south-southeast from Christchurch which is located in the south island of New Zealand.
